Sequester Fallout - NPR Senior Business Editor Marilyn Geewax joins us to discuss the federal sequestration's economic impact on California and how the cuts will affect employment in the Sacramento Region.

Capitol Chat - In this week's edition of Capitol Chat, Kevin Yamamura joins us to tells us what it's like to cover California's capitol. Yamamura has been covering state politics for the Sacramento Bee for 11 years at the Capitol Bureau and just recently became the assisant city editor of the paper.

Capitol Park - Construction on the California State Capitol began during the Civil War and showed that California had come a long way from the days of its transient, chaotic roots, born of the Gold Rush. When it was completed in 1873, it was the largest structure of its day west of the Mississippi River. Its presence has continued to not only dominate the Sacramento landscape for a century and a half but has also come to shape the very outlook and future of Sacramento and of California itself. We'll explore this history with John E. Allen, a history professor at American River College and author of the new book "Sacramento's Capitol Park."

Julian Lage Group - Julian Lage is a Grammy-Nominated guitarist who made his debut in 2009 with "Sounding Point." He is preforming at this weekend at the Mondavi Center in Davis. We'll talk with him about what it was like to be a "child prodigy" - he began performing in public at the age of six and was the subject of the 1997 Academy Award nominated documentary Jules at Eight. We'll talk with Lage about his work and hear him play with bassist Jorge Roeder live in our studios.
